The Keep Cascadia Weird

Mental model

As a Learning Experience Design student at Oregon State University, I was tasked with creating a mental model for the Keep Cascadia Weird (KCW) Cause-MOOC. A mental model usually measures a user’s interpretation of a website or system. However, the mental model was an ideation tool in my class that allowed me to explore the tasks students will take toward certification and ultimately building their own ecovillage. Additionally, I paired the steps with objects and actions students must interface with to complete KCW courses.
